Delicious hand cooked crisps

We went for the Rib Of Sussex Beef With Horseradish..WOW.. These are fabulous & the 150g bag didn't last long when family turned up..

The best crisps in Sussex, and probably the country, if not the world. Flavours of epic proportions, plus the mighty 'skin on'. Absolutely wonderful product. Bought some from Jempsons in Wadhurst, themselves a bastion of local quality produce. Not bad from someone that hates crisps !!! These are exceptional.

During a recent stay at an Airbnb, I was pleasantly surprised to find a bag of these chips waiting for me, the sea salt variety. From the very first bite, I was hooked. They had a perfect crunch and just the right amount of salt, striking a great balance between flavor and texture. Not too greasy, just delicious and well made. It's a shame they're not available in stores here in the Netherlands, because I'd definitely buy them again!

Wow The Crisps are so good. The flavours are as stated on the bag. I bought the Cheese and Spring onion and the Beef and Horseradish at Blackbrooks Bexhill Road. I wish I bought the other flavours. They were so flavourful. Will have to go back to buy some more.

Love all the flavours. Specially beef and lamb. Which they did a hot chilli jalapeno flavour like dog crisps used to.

Discovered these crisps in a farm shop by accident. The salt and vinegar crisps have very quickly become my absolute favourite crisps I’ve tried. The salt and vinegar flavour is so strong and the crisps are the perfect amount of crunch.

The best crisps I’ve had, the Romney Marsh lamb with rosemary and garlic is properly sublime and wouldn’t be out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant as an accompaniment to a local artisanal ale. Can’t recommend enough, so lovingly produced!

Love these crisps, the best, delicious! I don't recall having sampled any crisps that come anywhere close to the texture, flavour and appearance of these. And a local company too, proud to support.

Bloody delicious!

After a long walk from Cuckmere Haven a couple of weeks ago, I stopped off at the Ship Inn in Meads for a pint or two. I tried the Romney Marsh Lamb crisps closely followed by a packet of the Rib of Sussex Beef. Wow, beautiful tasting crisps, amazing flavour. Great to see a local Sussex company producing such a great product. Well done to the Sussex Crisp Company!

I am sort of a daily crisp person, but today at the Hikers Rest East Dean I found the best crisp I have tasted in ages. I have not seen this make on the high street retailers yet but I hope it does. Will be going back to Hikers Rest to try the other flavours.

I'm not sure how The Sussex Crisp Co. have managed this, but it makes all offerings from mainstream producers such as Walkers seem anaemic by comparison. I’ve just tried the Romney Marsh Lamb with Rosemary and Garlic flavour and also the Rib of Sussex Beef with Horseradish and both are outstanding. You can actually taste the component parts as you eat the crisps, just like you would eating the real thing! Amazing. Not so much just eating a packet of crisps as a bona fide food experience!

Unusual for me to rave about crisps- but these are great! Crunchy, and full of flavour - good enough to stop the general chat & cause comment around the pub table.

Quite simply the most flavoursome savoury satisfying crisps I have ever tasted, by a country mile! I would have them even if I were not having to follow a Gluten Free diet. (Fortunately my wife bought me some for a Christmas present. Weirdly, my best present! not that I'm hard done by, far from it, just they brought me more pleasure than the other gifts.) You can REALLY taste the ingredients, like the horseradish and Sussex rib of beef. Oh yeah - Matched with a Pint - my idea of Heaven. Being Gluten free discovering these crisps has added joy to my life what with the limited food choices I have to stick to. Worth every penny of the purchase price - THANK YOU SUSSEX CRISP Co. !!!

Had a bag when on holiday in pevensey bay. Haven’t tasted better. Shame I cannot find them locally in Surrey and a box of 12 is too big.

I was recently in The Old House at Home, West Wittering and enjoyed 2 packets (different days) of The Sussex Crisp Company crisps, so much so that i would like to order, but the website is being updated at the moment. The Cheese and Spring Onion crisps felt particularly poignant as the week before, i had been staying at Bodiam Boating Station and watching the Kent and East Sussex Railway steam engine and train.. and there it was on the crisps! 🙂 I also enjoyed the Salted ones.

I discovered the really lovely crisps that the Sussex Crisp company produce on a trip out to the other side of Battle. They were so crisp and fresh that I noticed a difference between them and other crisps I have eaten. Really enjoyed them and would definitely buy again whenever I see them.
